- 2 Front Premium Rotors and 2 Rear Premium Rotors Zinc Plated Cross Drilled and Slotted
- 4 Front Ceramic Pads and 4 Rear Ceramic Pads (with Shims or Wear Sensors if applicable)
Cross Drilled Rotors Specifications:
DRILL HOLES PREVENT ROTOR WARPING:
Drill holes allow air to flow over and through the vanes to improve convection heat transfer and keep the rotors up to 150 degrees cooler.
SILVER ZINC PLATING:
Electro-chemical plating is the best way to protect metal from rust. Some brands use painted rotors that peel or discolor when the rotors get hot.
CHAMFERED DRILL HOLES:
Each drill hole is chamfered for a smooth linear transition at the edge. This reduces stress risers for improved durability.
ROUNDED SLOTS ARE BETTER:
Rotors are machined with rounded slots to optimize degassing and dust removal. Diamond tapered edges are naturally more shallow so as the rotors wears, the slot length actually shrinks up to 5%. This means the slots will not provide effective gas ans dust removal.
